About Caroline Mascott

A native of Newburyport, Massachusetts, Caroline Mascott is a member of the class of 2025 at Vanderbilt University, pursuing a double major in medicine, health and society and human organization development.

Ms. Mascott’s coursework ranges from macroeconomics and ethics to medicine and society and developmental psychology. She is a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority, for which she performs volunteer work. She also donates her time reading to students as part of the Lead, Read to Achieve program and Surfing with Smiles organization helping those with developmental disabilities learn to surf. She also journeyed to Kenya to educate girls on healthcare through the Divinity Foundation Mission.

Previously, Caroline Mascott served as a senior hostess at the Tuscan Sea Kitchen in Newburyport, training new employees and handling reservations. Earlier, she was a server at the Harbor Creamery ice cream shop, also in Newburyport. In addition, she was a volunteer for for US Senator Ed Markey’s campaign and a high school intern with New Hampshire Orthopedic Center.

Caroline Mascott graduated from the Pingree School in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, with the highest distinction, appearing on honor rolls for four years. She was captain of the math team and competed on the school’s tennis, ski and field hockey teams. In her spare time, she enjoys surfing, tennis, and traveling.
